Middle School Debate: Tuesday, 4 to 6 PM from February 6 to May 16

New England Academy's program brings debate to students of all ages.  This class builds the fundamentals of argumentation, refutation, and speaking with confidence, and allows students to continue to build upon those skills.  While composing and practicing logical and evidence-supported arguments, students prepare for competitions, including the Orange County Debate League (OCDL) Tournaments. The class is open to all ability levels.

COVID-19 - This class is offered as a PHYSICAL class.  Masks are strongly recommended for all unvaccinated individuals.

High School Debate: Sunday, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon from February 12 to May 7

New England Academy's Sunday class brings competitive debate to high school students.  This class is open to students of all levels of experience.  It is especially encouraged for students familiar with the Orange County Debate League, but now attend high schools without debate programs.  

This class will focus on one style of debate, modified high school parliamentary, and allow students to learn and practice debate, but also prepare them for the OCDL High School Tournaments.
